The Paleo diet is a great way to get more energy and lose weight… you will feel your best!

… but the Paleo diet isn’t exactly easy…

It’s not necessarily hard, but it’s simply not as convenient…

Here’s an example of what I mean…

Some people may ask “are bananas Paleo?”

Short answer is yes, fruit is allowed on the Paleo diet, but remember that the goal is to eat like our ancestors did… our ancestors did not eat seedless bananas… that wasn’t even a thing until recently…

Bananas are supposed to have seeds, which then begs the question… where do you even get seeded bananas?

You definitely won’t find them at your convenience store… you will have to find them online unless you are lucky enough to live near a farm that grows them…

The Paleo diet isn’t anything special when you really think about it… it’s about learning what real food is supposed to be…

I never saw seedless fruit growing up in Mexico… it wasn’t until I came to the US that I started seeing seedless fruit for sale…

You have to think about what seedless fruit is….

Seedless means that it’s infertile…

Eating food is all about becoming fertile… you are fertile when your body produces energy… to produce energy, you have to produce hormones… to produce hormones you have to be fertile…

You don’t become fertile by eating infertile foods…

You need to eat fertile foods to become fertile, otherwise you won’t produce hormones…

That’s what the Paleo Diet is about and that’s why it’s good for you…

… but again, eating Paleo isn’t about eating meat, cutting out carbs and taking in more fat…

It’s about eating food that has the nutrients your body needs to produce energy…

It’s not exactly convenient to find this food… we live in the city so we have to drive about 35 minutes to a local farm to get some of our food like raw milk and eggs…

Some people don’t even bother with dairy or grains on a Paleo diet because it’s hard to find ancient breeds like Einkorn wheat which has a different type of gluten compared to modern day wheat.

How is it different?

Einkorn wheat does not contain the D genome, only the A genome…

In the case of raw milk it must come from cow breeds like guernseys, jerseys, charolais and others that produce A2 milk…

Foods like Einkorn and raw milk were traditionally fermented… yet another thing that makes the Paleo Diet inconvenient… our ancestors didn’t eat grains without soaking, sprouting or fermenting them… that’s why most Paleo diets simply say to cut out all grains because you can’t find bread made this way… it’s hard enough to find Einkorn, but it’s out there if you look for it…

Most people simply don’t feel like they have time for this, but the reason why I tell it like it is, is because those that are saying that the Paleo Diet is easy are doing you a disservice…

The Paleo Diet works and is good for you because it’s about eating real food… the biggest benefit of eating a true Paleo Diet is that your food becomes your medicine… you won’t need supplements, or anything else to be healthy… you will be truly healthy…
